Walking In Freedom

Our relationship with God should be the main thing which excites us. We should focus on our relationship with God and not get excited only with the rewards on earth. God never changes. If we are right with God, we have nothing to fear, even death.

Luke 8: 22 (Jesus calms the storm)-The God who calms storms is in the boat with us. We need to get to know him. Not having God in our lives is equal to not having anything, whether we have achieved success or not, whether we are rich or poor or whether we face sickness or enjoy good health. When we come to God, we should not come to acquire our needs but to have a relationship with Him. With God we have all things. What brings satisfaction to man is outward, what is inward is rotten. The outward is a fruit of the inward.

John 3:16-In times of disaster we stand strong. Our security is in God. We will not be shaken as our God doesn’t get shaken. We should come to God not for what he can do for us or through us but for what he can do in us.

John 10:10- The thief comes only to kill, steal and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.We are constantly engaged in a battle, where the Devil is busy doing his work. Belief in God brings breakthrough.

Things which allow Satan to interfere in our walk with God

• Words (Either said to ourselves or to others)
• Sin
• Generational sin
• Trauma
• Passive state of mind (Romans 12:2– Be transformed by the renewing of your minds)

To walk in freedom

• Recognize you have a problem and repent of anything causing sin
• Renounce anything which is not of God and ask God to give you the grace to rid yourself of it.
• Reject the lies of Satan and believe what God says(Phil: 4:13)
• Replace it with good (Romans 12:17- 21)
